THE BACKGROUND

With 12,000 athletes representing 70 different countries, the biennial World Police & Fire Games was the largest international athletic competition that nobody had ever heard of. The event approached Good Soil with the goal of attracting more athletes, gaining sponsorship dollars and reaching that next level of event credibility.

THE STRATEGY

Taking cues from the world’s grandest sporting event, Good Soil created an Olympic-style identity for the Fairfax 2015 World Police & Fire Games. Games officials agreed that the look was befitting the strength and character of the members of law enforcement and first-responder agencies who serve neighborhoods, businesses and communities around the globe.
